Why Standing Calf Raise Machines are not in most Gym’s today?
In today’s busy hustle and bustle gyms, some of the greatest reason’s why people joint a gym is for the cheap membersips and perhaps a shower at the end of your hour.
Do most well informed gym member’s who know what a real gym is kitted out with walk in and checkout the machines and see what is on the floor before buying their membership?
Are the school’s today being educated on how the gyms look and what they are all about?
From start to finish, school’s should have several chapters in PE regarding joining a gym in all its benefit in learning what strength, cardio, classes are and why it offers so much to your lifestyle now and forever in our opinion. When I was in 5th year in secondary school, we were shown how to bench press, lat pulldown, shoulder press and standing calf raise on the first session. In my first month I learned the lot and I am now over 30 years still training and enjoying every minute of it several times per week since.
Today in alot of the well fitted out gyms all over Ireland and the rest of Europe there are too many gym floor’s missing the “Standing Calf Raise”. I wonder why this is now? The standing calf raise if on the gym floor would have not only the strongest muscles in the human body back activated again but alot less calf injuries and a more balanced lower leg as the hamstrings would be stronger too. Bodybuilders will always want the “Standing Calf Raise” in their gym, that is great but these pieces should be a 100% need again. So many sports really do need inclusion in a more balanced build of the body using strength training or bodybuilding however so many take this as an insult
