About Us

Name of the owners are Paul and Marian Roberts.

Marian is the Director of the Pro Fitness Supplies (Trading as Irish Gym Concepts Ltd).
Marian is responsible for accounts and office administration.
Paul is responsible for sales, logistics, orders, and installations.

We run and developed this business in Co Wexford after Paul gained much interest in Bodybuilding/Strength Sports in the early 1990's from watching 'Worlds Strong Man' on the BBC channel and from viewing 'The Gladiators' that was screened on ITV. From there what Paul wanted to do was train like a Bodybuilder and Strength Athlete and get into the fitness/Strength industry and help others who had the same interest which was not very popular at the time however. Paul qualified in the Exercise and Fitness Industry in 1995/6 with the NCEF Certificate which set him off on a path still used today in his own training plus he uses now when setting up home gyms for customers, Gyms for Gaa Clubs, Garda Stations, Public Gyms and Commercial Gyms. Paul started to organize Strongman Sports from New Ross in 2001 plus in Tipperary and competed from 2002 until 2014 and won several events including 'Rep of Ireland's Strongest Man 2004 and 2013, Irish Arm Wrestling Championships 2003 plus other Strongman events. It is nothing new to have service work being carried out over the weekend and taking calls regarding business over weekends and bank holidays etc.

Our products range from domestic to commercial, in several brands also. We supply Treadmills, Crosstrainers, Rowers, Spin Bikes, Upright Bikes, Steppers. We are the Official Supplier of Goalrilla and Goaliath Basketball Hoops since the start of 2022. Our Strength Range is quiet large catering for Commercial Gyms and Domestic private Gyms. We have also added the Tytax Range in 2022 which stands out in terms of a full home gym  that is said to be on a par with others as the best designed product on the market today.
