Primal Strength Austin Olympic Power Bar

Description

The Primal Strength Austin Power Bar has been engineered for use as a multi-purpose power bar for deadlifting, squatting and benching. The bar has a firm whip with thinner ends to allow more plates on the bar. The bar is completed with an aggressive 1.6mm diamond knurl.

When designing the “Austin” bar we use brass bushing for a smooth, reduced-friction spin, the spin is far lower than our 8-needle bars which have been designed for olympic lifting.

The bar is tested to a minimum stress level of 190,000 pounds per square inch, the bar is thoroughly tested to 1000kg of pressure, repeatedly during our factory QC process.

The “Austin” Texas Bar differs from our Dual Olympic Bars as it has a centre knurl for sumo deadlifts and knurl support for squatting. The bar has a 29mm grip (Dual Bars are 28mm) and it has a firm flex/whip. The Ionised-Steel centre gives the bar market-leading durability, reducing expense and maintenance for busy gyms and performance centres. Each Sleeve measures 41.5cm

The “Austin” Olympic Power Bar is one of our core Primal Strength bars and the range has been designed for use in any sports facility, commercial gym, PT studio or home.

It has hardened steel 50mm, Olympic ends complete with snap ring ends and is suitable for use with all Olympic discs. We recommend using the “Austin” bar with our Primal Strength Calibrated plates

The “Austin” bar has a lifetime “no bend” warranty and a full 3-year bar warranty; the warranty is only valid against bending if the bar hasn’t been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, poor storage or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes dropping the bar on a bench, metal spotter arms or non-rubberised J-Hooks in a power rack, or excessive dropping with poor quality plates/iron discs.
